Das Bild "Galerie des Erzherzogs Leopold Wilhelm in Brüssel", gemalt 1647 von David Teniers dem Jüngeren steht exemplarisch für das zweite Gemeinschaftsprojekt der Galerien fiebach, minninger und Christian Nagel. In einem Laden im Dumont Carré, an der Breite Straße, einer der kommerziellsten Stellen Kölns, werden für drei Monate Bilder international etablierter sowie aufstrebender Künstler/innen präsentiert:
Patrick Alt, Peppi Bottrop, Lutz Braun, Merlin Carpenter, Clegg & Guttmann, Andreas Diefenbach, Georg Gatsas, Grit Hachmeister, Tobias Hauser, Kiron Khosla, Thomas Kilpper, Michael Krebber, Felix Kultau, Hans-Jörg Mayer, John Miller, Stefan Müller, Brett Lund, Cornelius Quabeck, Maximilian Rödel, Dominik Sittig, Josef Schulz, Henning Strassburger, Chris Succo, Cosima von Bonin, Joseph Zehrer, Gang Zhao, Heimo Zobernig
In einer Petersburger Hängung werden hierarchielos Arbeiten der beiden Galerien wild durcheinander gehängt - die Ware ist verkäuflich - in der Einkaufspassage - wo sonst!
Ähnlichkeiten mit einer Flut von Poster- und Kunstläden, die mit oft zweifelhaften Werken die Innenstädte beglücken, sind erwünscht. Zeitgenössische Kunst gerät in den Kontext der normalen Konsumwelt - dieses Spannungsverhältnis könnte zu überraschenden Ergebnissen führen.Viele der Passanten im Dumont Carré haben hier die Gelegenheit neue Einsichten in neue Bildwelten zu erlangen.
Wir freuen uns auf ein Experiment. Jeder Gast ist willkommen, der Eintritt ist frei.

The painting "Gallery of the archduke Leopold Wilhelm in Brussels", made in 1647 by artist David Teniers the Younger stands exemplatory for the second project of art galleries fiebach, minninger and Christian Nagel. In a shop located in the mall "Dumont-Carré", Breite Straße, one of the most commercial streets in Cologne, paintings of established as well as emerging artists are presented:

Evoking formally the Petersburg hanging, works of artists of both galleries are hung hierarchyless. The goods are for sale - in a shopping mall - where else!
Similarities to many poster and artshops that often 'delight' city centres are purposely drawn. Contemporarty art in the spheres of the world of consumption - this constellation of tensions might have surprising effects. Many visitors of the "Dumont-Carré" are given the possibilty to gain a new understanding of new visual experiences.
